| | About
Jonathan White Jonathan White, a Western Colorado native, learned traditional blacksmithing at Colorado Rocky Mountain School in Francis Whitaker's blacksmith shop. He was immediately attracted to the art medium for its beauty, versatility, fluidity, and history.
He continued his studies at the John C. Campbell Folk School in North Carolina and then apprenticed for Carbondale artist-blacksmith Will Perry.
The consummate artist, Jonathan enjoys taking each project from the drawing board to the anvil to the finishing table. Not a detail is overlooked because, in the words of Francis Whitaker, "There is no place on a piece of work that won't be seen. Always do your best and strive for perfection."
